Welcome to Saari! Come see how an old store warehouse has been transformed into a space for everyone
to get together in Saari’s Akonpohja. The association Maironiemen Veikot has restored the place and they
organise various events there in the summer. The space can be rented for different events or parties.
Things to see
The channels dug in the Saari and Kirjavala area have lowered the water levels of Suur-Rautjärvi lake in
order to make more farmland out of the lakebed. There is a memorial for the diggers in the centre of Saari.
There is a 9-lane disc golf course near the frame, and the first lane is in the yard of Saari school.
